Less is More - Mask

The Less is More challenge this week is to use a mask. I stamped the Hero Arts stamp with versa mark and used white embossing powder. I then cut a circle to use as a mask and used Distess inks to create the blue circle. I used a white  card and found that it was too white for the embossed image so I used Distress ink to colour the rest of the card. I cut the frame from water colour paper which added a little texture and also was too white and a little cord.

Purple and Grey

Sizzix clock die cut from Core'dinations paper, Hero Art stamp "inked" with Promarkers. Grey and white card embossed with Cuttlebug embossing folders.Challenge:The Promarker challenge is to use Grey and Purple.

Valentines Card

A vary simple card, a half heart was cut out of a piece of corrugated card and flipped over to complete the heart, a Sizzix embossing folder to add some texture and some gems were added to finish.

Less is more - Silhouettes

Card: The image and sentiment are stamped and embossed with black embossing powder. The snow flakes are embossed with tinsel embossing powder. 

Tag: The image and sentiment are stamped with VersaMark black ink. the snowflakes are stamped with Brilliance platinum planet ink.

Challenge: Less is More - Silhouettes 

The Stampendous holly stamp is stamped with Stazon black ink and coloured with fine liner pens, the sentiment stamp is embossed with gold ep. The leaves and stems are highlighted with a green Sakura  pen.

The Simply Less is More challenge this week is to create a one layer card with leaves as the theme.

Birthday Penguin

The digital image is coloured with Promarkers. For the background I embossed scrap paper and vellum with cuttlebug embossing folders and swiped over them with a distress inkpad and layered them onto blue cardstock. Three buttons were added to finish the card.

Faux silk snowman

The Inkadinkado snowman was first stamped on white paper and cut out. The snowman was then stamped onto white tissue, which was crumpled and stuck over the paper snowman. The tissue was then stuck over a piece of light blue card which had been stamped with snowflakes. This card was then matted onto silver card and stuck onto a base card. The sentiment was then stamped onto the tissue and embossed with silver embossing powder.

The challenge on Less is More is "the colour of your eyes". My eyes are bluey grey, hence the light blue and silver.

This week's Crafty Creations challenge is to create a CAS card.

Less is more week 31

I love C&S cards, but never liked any I made myself. Then I found the Simply Less is More blog, great inspiration there. Their challenge this week is to add a metalic finish. I've inked a panel with worn lipstick and spun sugar distress ink and stamped with worn lipstick on the panel. The heart and sentiment were stamped and embossed with gold ep. Roses and bow from stash added.

The Mo Manning image is coloured with Promarkers. Cuttlebug embossing folder on whitewash coredination paper along with Spellbinder nestie create the frame. DP edged with bundles sage distress ink. Purple ribbon added to complete card.

By the Cute and Girly

The By The Cute and Girly Challenge this month is "things with wings".

The Tiddly Inks image is colored with Prismacolor pencils, with Sakura clear stardust added to give sparkle to the wings and cupcakes, and glossy accents added to the cherry. DCWV papers.
