Purple girl

The image was stamped on velum and coloured from the back of the velum with promarkers. The velum was then embossed with an embossing folder. I used the same embossing folder to emboss a piece of purple card which was slightly bigger than the velum, the centre cut out to show the velum image. I then added punched flowers and leaves and pearls.

Promarker Challenge - is to use your favourite colour combination - purple is my favourite colour so my favourite combination would be purple with anything else
CAS-ual Fridays - is to use your markers.

Less is More - Mask

The Less is More challenge this week is to use a mask. I stamped the Hero Arts stamp with versa mark and used white embossing powder. I then cut a circle to use as a mask and used Distess inks to create the blue circle. I used a white  card and found that it was too white for the embossed image so I used Distress ink to colour the rest of the card. I cut the frame from water colour paper which added a little texture and also was too white and a little cord.
